I hate to see Chris go! Shortly after he came to WAKA I started watching him because Rich Thomas wasn’t as good as he use to be, and WSFA had fallen back in their weather reporting. Chis has a unique personality, and I like having him report, especially during bad weather times. I wish Chris well, and hope his replacement is close to being “as good” as Chris. Oh, Ashley I was impressed with your reporting during the April 27th tornaoes outbreak.

I,for one,liked Kait Parker and was sorry to see that WAKA ran her off as well. As for Ashley Macdonald,I have never liked the way she reports the weather. So when WAKA fired Chris and brought her back (you notice that now she is labeled as chief meterologist)I found that I like Rich Thomas better,so now I get my news and weather from WSFA. Don’t miss Ashley at all.

Just because you have degrees doesn’t mean you do a good job. These girls seems fakey to me. Also…during severe weather, their skills sorely lacked or they weren’t there at all a few months ago. People want to see knowledgeable broadcasters…not just pretty people with smiles who can rehash what the weather service is saying.
