APT(PBS) UPGRADING HD CAPABILITIES

APT is upgrading its ability to record and distribute HD programming to its TV channels. That means more HD programming on WAIQ(26) APT announcement here. APT got a huge donation for the new equipment. I’m looking forward to more HD from APT. The PBS programming they already air has great HD picture quality. The more HD the better! Tune in to channel 26-1 in September and report your opinions of the programmming and picture quality.

Finally! After almost a year and a half since Montgomery locals were turned up on Direct. Picture quality is great. ...
That’s good to hear (finally). They’ve only had the capability to play back pre-recorded HD from Sony HDCAM tape since at least 2006.
Hope the Donation was from Private Funds, not Taxpayers. They could go off the air as far as I am concerned.
Now we need the HD version on Charter.
