Best of Montgomery Media FINALE!
First of all, thank you everyone for voting in the “Best of Montgomery Media” contest. While no polls are ever 100% correct, ours definitely continues that tradition. You may agree or disagree with some of the results but the fact of the matter is whoever has the most votes wins. The criteria was just that. So, with no further delays here are some of the stats:
There were a total of 7,254 votes cast.
The most popular category was Sports Anchor/Reporter with over 1,184 votes cast.
The most popular individual in all the categories was in the Sports Anchor/Reporter area…they received 561 votes.
The category most likely to be left off for next year…Best Radio/TV Ownership. Only 237 votes were cast in it. The only thing close to it was Favorite Local TV Program with 274 votes.
All 3 TV stations with news casts won in categories. WSFA won the most categories…WAKA the least.
One person won in two different categories.
One radio station group won all the radio categories.
