New Y102 PD

Per this story posted at AllAccess.com – Carey Edwards is set to be the new WHHY ( Y102) Program Director. Carey comes from KAMX (Mix 94.7)/Austin, TX where he was Assistant Program Director and afternoon drive. Carey will be in the mornings at Y102 per the news story which I believe will still leave afternoons open for the time being.
Welcome to town Carey. Jeff Andrews did nothing at Y102 during his short stay and still managed to fall up so simply by taking this job it appears to be a good move. Y102 has truly fallen right now and it can only go up. No mornings, no afternoons, no reason to listen at all.

Yawn… hope he has a valid drivers license. He will need it. By the way, what does an APD do for Cumulus? File the emails the PD gets from Atlanta that the PD has to execute?
The only good thing happening at Y102 is Joey D. He’s been on the air for 10 years and the only reason I still listen. He is awesome. Steve Smith was the greatest PD they ever had.
Carey has a lot to bring to the table, was well respected in Austin as well as in Phoenix. He will make things happen and I am sure the skeptics will be pleasantly surprised!
