Finally! Someone Other Than Dish Network Adds an HD Channel

Today, DirecTV launched Shorts HD on channel 568. We are hearing rumors that DirecTV will launch a bunch more HD channels over the next few months. It’s about time!
Also, on the rumor front, Dish plans to launch Bloomberg HD, Veria HD and GSN HD sometime this week. Keep ‘em coming Dish!
On the factual front, Brighthouse, Charter and Knology continue to fall be behind with their “we love the stone ages” approach.

Finally! After almost a year and a half since Montgomery locals were turned up on Direct. Picture quality is great. ...
Even though those channels aren’t that exciting, I always welcome more HD (because if I’m ever going to watch your channel, I’d like it to be in HD).

Dish hasn’t launched anything yet today but satelliteguys.us is reporting it could happen soon. Unfortunately, Dish dropped Reelz HD today. It was only termporary for the Kennedy mini-series.
Any word about Charter or Knology adding new HD channels anytime soon? I have Knology and next month will be 2 years since they’ve added any new HD channels other than MLB HD.
@Greg-Nothing to report. Channels just show up some times. You might want to consider another company if you like HD.
