If you’ve missed having Rex on Y102, you won’t for much longer. He’ll be back very soon as the new Morning Show host and Program Director of Y102.
Rex was the previous evening guy and was let go in a round of cost cutting a few years back.
Here’s the announcement from his Facebook Fan Page:
Hey peeps! Big news as I announced on the air today! I am leaving POWER 103 effective tomorrow. I know! I’m sad! But the company I’m with is moving me to program a station in another market! Headed to sister station Y102 in Montgomery, AL! See everyone soon and thanks to EVERYONE in Abilene for the support and friendship. You will always be in my thoughts! – Rex
