Dan Morris is Back

feature photo

Dan Morris is back on News Talk 107.9 as “The Dan Morris Show”.

Per Dan, “Liftoff will be Wednesday at 12:00noon. The show will air Monday-Friday 12:00-3:00 on (News Talk) 107.9.”

So there you go guys…three hours at that.

It’s unclear what will become of the Viewpoint name though at this time.

well, good for dan the man. (This portion deleted. Please leave your political attacks and opinions out of this site. We are not a political site. Thanks-MTR staff) i’ll be tuned in to both roundtables til 2 then jay thomas on sirius at 2.

I’m glad he worked something out with the Station and will be back on.
I am afraid that Greg is going to burn himself out trying to do two shows, though the morning seems to be a more fun show, and the afternoon a serious one which takes more preperation.

  3. Steppin' Up says:

What’s going to become of the Neal Boortz show? Is he going to be relegated to night time again or will the show just be removed from the line up?

  4. Glenn Henry says:

AWESOME! A Great Big Thanks to the station leaders and managers for bringing Dan Morris back. I knew that you all would do the right thing. George great comments, I agree with you. Greg will need some leisure and relaxation time too. Look forward to hearing Dan’s voice again. Happy times again in Radio Land 107.9-

sorry about the pol references above. i wasn’t aware of the policy, but am squarely in on your side with it. politics is simply the reason i won’t be listening.

  6. Rick Peters says:

Viewpoint will return as a News and Public Affairs show as soon as another host can be found. If we can get to the point where we are doing 6a-6p local talk, we’ll be happy. We may rotate guest hosts on Viewpoint – thus offering a wider range of “viewpoints”.

  7. Glenn Henry says:

Rick great job! Put my name in the hat as a potential host or rotating guest host. From time to time I guest hosted Don Markwell’s show. Warmly.

  8. Sounds great, Mr. Peters! I agree with “frisbee,” however, that there is a need for a wider variety of .. well .. VIEWPOINTs all across the talk radio dial. I’m not saying we need Al Franken. A Joe Scarborough / Mika Brzezenski type thing like they had on WABC in New York, similar to their MSNBC show, that features a variety of views being discussed other than just the Tea Party-GOP line. I am neither liberal nor conservative. I would just like to hear some different voices. Perhaps a whole new audience is waiting in the wings.

dozens of people will problably listen

  10. Rick Peters says:

We welcome hosts with an alternative point of view. They seem to be hard to find.

  11. frisbee says:

“hard to find” maybe, maybe not. leave no stone unturned.

  12. Karen says:

I for one am glad Dan is back, and would think WMRK and Mr. Peters would be at least welcoming. While I listened when the Judge was also on, I could not listen with my husband because he refused to listen to the judge. I hope the show is successful for Dan and Bluewater as well.
