Daystar to buy WETU-LP

National religious broadcaster Daystar has a contract to purchase low power TV station WETU-LP in Wetumpka.  The sell is contingent upon a flash cut to digital.  Read more by clicking here. Currently Frazer TV (WFRZ-LD) carries Daystar programming.  For the time being, no changes are expected.

WSFA Adds New Meteorologist

Replacing the recently retired Dan Atkinson, new Meteorologist Eric Snitil is joining WSFA.  His first newscast was the 5pm newscast on Friday, October 7.  You’ll be seeing him reporting the weather Friday, Saturday and Sundays plus reporting occasionally during the week.
